Message from the Owner
Hi, I am Stacey and I am here to help you improve the quality of your life and increase your potential for longevity by becoming the strongest, fittest, healthiest version of yourself that your genetics will allow.
Using functional fitness methodology I will teach you how to move better and live better.
At Primal Strength and Conditioning, aesthetics and weight loss are not our primary focus, FITNESS is.
However, looking great and achieving a healthy weight and body composition will be the added benefit or by product of becoming healthy, strong and fit.
Stress is one of the main contributing factors to weight gain or the inability to lose weight, therefore I do not believe in creating a stressful environment by insisting that clients weigh in or take measurements at the initial consultation or subsequent training sessions.
We will both know if your body composition is changing for the better without weigh ins and measurements.
Of course, that is a service that I am happy to provide when requested.
You will never hear me use the word “skinny”.
I do not associate “skinny” with health and fitness.
We want to be lean, strong and fit!
With the proper combination of balance training, stability and core training, strength and power training, endurance and stamina training, mobility, flexibility, accuracy, coordination and agility you will become functionally fit.
If you’re ready to make a change in your life, please join me!
I’d love to be your partner, your coach and your biggest supporter on your journey to optimal health and fitness.
About Stacey
Owner/Coach
I am a 50+ year old mother of two adult daughters and “Grandmommie” to two, a fourth generation Lakeland native and fourth generation Lakeland business owner.
My dad was a WWII veteran and taught me hard work, discipline, respect, integrity, leadership, orderliness, punctuality, time management and organizational skills, relationship building and community as well as the importance of fitness, daily movement, staying active and living a healthy lifestyle.
I have always been very competitive in nature and enjoyed living a very active lifestyle and playing many different types of sports.
From a young age I enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, water skiing, horseback riding, racing go karts, running, Weightlifting, striking, calisthenics, Tae Kwon Do, tennis and dabbling in many other sports.
I’ve been devouring all of the knowledge, books and information I can get my hands on that pertains to health, nutrition and every genre, method and modality of fitness for as long as I can remember.
I can remember before I was even a teenager collecting every piece of fitness equipment I possibly could, watching every fitness trainer on television and buying whatever equipment they were selling from Jack LaLanne, Rachel McLish, “Bodies In Motion”, “Body By Jake” to Tony Little, Suzanne Somers, Kathy Smith, Cher, Olivia Newton John, Jane Fonda, Susan Powter, Denise Austin, Billy Blanks to Arnold Schwarzenegger and Chuck Norris. Probably the only fitness celebrity that I was not obsessed with was Richard Simmons. LOL
I fell in love with the barbell at age 15 and Weightlifting continues to be my favorite sport/hobby.
As an adult I have actively pursued Weightlifting, running, rucking, competing in, coaching and judging CrossFit.
I have had the honor of completing 15+ GoRuck Challenges, several Ragnar Relay races, countless road races, mud runs and obstacle course races.
In my late 40’s I had the privilege of completing a 200+ mile loaded ruck run from Deerfield Beach to Key West as well as several 100+ mile ultra marathons to benefit the Green Beret and Wounded Warrior Foundations.
My all time favorite athletic event was the “Nasty Nick” obstacle course in Massanutten, VA.
I have been blessed with amazing health and fitness and I do not take it for granted!
Let me share my passion for fitness and a healthy, active lifestyle with YOU!
